We have been trading forex for 8 years and have lost over 80k to develop our current consistently profitable trading system. Most trading systems do not work consistently. It takes years of hard work, determination and patience to find one that is consistently profitable. No matter how well you control your emotion and how strict you adhere to your money management, without a consistently profitable system, you will definitely fail.
There are a lot of forex schools around but most of the trainers cannot trade, that's why they teach. Material items like condo, sports car and even private jet are displayed to entice students to sign up for their expensive forex course. Some use marketing trick like only allow the students to post winning trades but hide the losing trades. Some use simple magic trick on past charts to prove their trading system. However, when you ask them for their trading results, all of them can only show you their results in pdf format or other formats that can be easily forged, they do not have real live results (e.g. myfxbook) to show you. Some even simply typed out their results. Even if they have, they can only show their deposits online, not profit gained. Or at most, profit gained over a short period. i.e. Today gained 500, they show it to you. Tomorrow lose 600, they keep quiet. Some even claimed to have lawyers to certify their trading account. Yes, their trading account was certified by lawyers, but not on the profits gained. Anyone can get their account certified by lawyers, just pay money.
Why trade on your own? You can avoid paying high management fee or commission from those professional management fund.
